Main Duties

• Oversee all the work package preparation and execute actions to ensure maintenance planning readiness before starting/ during and completing the maintenance work on the aircraft
• Coordinate with internal departments to have a smooth and a strong pre-input process maintained for the work package preparation and standardisation including budget preparation, and up to the customer briefing
• Oversee all maintenance events on allocated projects, lead production control, direct and control the work cards and activities of the maintenance events
• Ensure activities are carried in such a way that the available labour are used in the most efficient manner, review the status of the projects for progress and the commercial targets
• Control the daily workload, in conformity with the target set by the current agreed plan while the aircraft is in-work to ensure on-time project completion and profitability
• Be chairperson for all pre-input, customers and wash-up meetings for the allocated maintenance events and ensure the accomplishment of open actions within the pre-set down time
• Be the voice of the Planning team and represent the team in all functions, interface and communicate between internal and external stakeholders
• Manage Planning Assistants and enable them to work to CASL standards, distribute the workload, supervise, measures the performance and verifies the outputs
• Monitor and maintain visible and up to date performance charts for check preparation and check progress and ensure the work pack is presented for Certificate of Return to Services review and signature

Qualifications and Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or related disciplines
• Minimum 5 years’ work experience in aircraft maintenance or at least 3 years in production planning
• Possess HKAR66 B1 / B2 License is of an advantage
• Sound business acumen and strong project management skills
• Strong people skills with demonstrated negotiation ability
• Proficient in MS office application
• Fluent spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
• Require shift duties on roster basis
