CASL is pleased to receive Implementation Award – Excellent Class and Innovation Award – Good Class of the HKIA Carbon Reduction Scheme organized by Hong Kong Airport Authority for its endeavours to reducing carbon emission by power saving and regular environmental performance review.

The awards recognise CASL’s significant achievement in scaling down power consumption through enhancement of the in-house lighting facilities. Carbon audit is also conducted on a regular basis to explore environmental performance and identify rooms for improvement.

As stressed by Dr. Angus Cheung, the Chief Executive Officer of CASL, “CASL fully supports the Carbon Reduction Programme led by Hong Kong Airport Authority. Regular aircraft maintenance checks can help maintaining its airworthiness. Similarly, the place we live and work needs our joint effort to control the greenhouse gas emissions and makes it suitable for living and commerce.”
