A Boeing 777 with the lettering “Servus Hong Kong” and Bauhinia blossom decoration has arrived in Hong Kong International Airport and lifted the curtain on Austrian Airlines’ Vienna-Hong Kong direct flight service. Starting from 6th September 2016, Austrian Airlines operates up to 5 direct flights per week. Meanwhile, CASL has collaborated with Austrian Airlines by providing Line Maintenance, Ground Support Equipment, Cabin Services and Storage Services.

The representatives of CASL welcomed Austrian Airlines’ inaugural flight at the ramp and took photo with Lufthansa German Airlines’ Station Manager, Ms Mona Chow, who oversees the operations of Austrian Airlines. Both parties expressed their keenness to cooperate together. The aircraft conducted the traditional water jetting ceremony and the captain waved the regional flag of HKSAR to send his regards to Hong Kong.
