Main Duties

• Accomplish assigned work in an effective manner without prejudice to quality standards
• With an understanding of principles, techniques and procedures, perform NDT tasks as assigned by the SNDTE/ SSM
• Organise and report the results according to applicable standards, codes or specifications of NDT inspection and issue reports
• Familiar with NDT standards and specifications and translate them into practical testing instruction adapted to the actual working conditions
• Work analysis in detail and make all necessary preparations according to relevant information and/or techniques to be employed, including equipment and tooling, for effective accomplishment of all work
• Liaise with operational departments / sections and communicate effectively for work accomplishment
• Ensure the accurate and timely completion of all proper tasks, work records, and other related paperwork
• Complete the NDT report on findings and recommendations to ensure all established standards are met, or exceeded
• Represent the Section within the company and externally in the absence of his seniors and make necessary decisions should the situation so demand
• Offer recommendations and improvements to NDT development plans and company procedures on a continuous basis
• Understand how your own work fits into the company business and the role and responsibilities of your department
• Competently handles and accepts responsibility for many aspects of NDT and be technically responsible for your own work
• Capable of planning and controlling work of any company assigned task
• Carry out, supervise and give guidance in NDT training
• Take on special projects when requested to do so by the SNDTE / SSM

Requirements

• • Degree holder in Engineering disciplines
• Hold PCN / ASNT / EN4179 Level 2 qualification in Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, Eddy Current, Ultrasonic, Radiography or Thermography Testing
• Hands on experience in aerospace NDT inspection(s), experience in Radiography or Thermography Testing
• Good spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
• Require shift duties on roster basis
• The position of offer will depend on experience and the number of NDT qualifications
