Procurement Officer
Main Duties
-
- Supply aircraft materials/parts for scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance
- Replenish, control, monitor, and maintain the stock levels to support the different business units
- Help expand the supplier’s network and monitor the supplier’s performance
- Review freight rates for air, courier, and land transport and seek means to reduce these costs
- Procure tools and ground support equipment
- Oversee maintenance requirements for tools and ground support equipment, coordinating their servicing with approved maintenance providers
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and departments to source and procure commercial items
- Liaise with the materials coordination team to procure shortages that should be provided by CASL
- Liaise with the warehouse to ensure timely receipt of the parts
- Maintain good relationships with teammates and customers
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications and Requirements

- Diploma in an Engineering or Supply Chain Management related field
- Understanding of aircraft materials and supply chain. Obtained or working towards CIPS/CSCP. PMP, Lean Six Sigma qualifications are a plus
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in logistics or supply chain, preferably within the aviation sector
- Familiarity with aircraft tools, parts, and materials
- Knowledge of procurement and inventory management principles
- Strong analytical abilities and excellent interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in inventory management software and tools
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities
- Able to communicate in English and Cantonese (Mandarin is a plus)
