China Aircraft Services Limited (CASL) successfully completed its New Energy Transport Fund (NET Fund) project with the official handover ceremony held today, marking another important milestone in the Company's sustainability journey.

Through the support of the New Energy Transport Fund, CASL has introduced an electric pushback tractor into its ground support equipment fleet. The project demonstrates CASL's commitment to adopting innovative and environmentally friendly technologies that contribute to greener airport operations and reduced carbon emissions.  The successful completion of the project reflects the collaborative efforts of the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the New Energy Transport Fund Secretariat, equipment suppliers, and CASL colleagues who supported the planning, procurement, commissioning, and implementation processes.

CASL remains committed to supporting Hong Kong's carbon neutrality objectives and will continue exploring sustainable solutions to enhance operational efficiency while reducing environmental impact across our aviation support services.

CASL senior management, Government officials, AAHK representatives and project partners witnessed the successful handover of the New Energy Transport Fund-subsidized Electric Pushback Tractor, marking another important milestone in CASL's sustainability journey.  Following the handover ceremony, Government officials and AAHK representatives visited CASL's facilities to gain a deeper understanding of the Company's sustainability initiatives. The visit showcased CASL's ongoing efforts in environmental stewardship, including the New Energy Transport Fund project, solar photovoltaic panel installations, energy efficiency enhancement programmes, and other green initiatives implemented over the years to support sustainable airport operations and Hong Kong's carbon reduction objectives.
