Materials Coordinator

Main Duties

    • Plan and source materials/parts for scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance
  • Coordinate materials requirements between the MRO operation and the customer
  • Work with the MRO operations to maintain the production schedule and budget
  • Maintain material shortage reports up to date at all times and publish the reports at the set frequency
  • Liaise with the procurement team to procure the shortages that should be provided by CASL
  • Liaise with the warehouse to ensure the timely dispatch of materials to the frontline operations
  • Maintain good relationships with teammates and customers
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications and Requirements

    • Diploma in an Engineering or Supply Chain Management related field
  • Understanding of aircraft materials and supply chain. Obtained or working towards CIPS/CSCP
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in logistics or supply chain, preferably within the aviation sector
  • Familiarity with aircraft tools, parts, and materials
  • Knowledge of aircraft material coordination processes
  • Strong analytical abilities and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and tools
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to communicate in English and Cantonese (Mandarin is a plus)
