Assistant Quality Manager

Main Duties

    • Assist Quality Manager (QM) to manage and facilitate the integrated management system which embraces the compliance monitoring / quality management systems (QMS)
  • Assist QM to oversee and maintain the effectiveness of the QMS and lead a team to carry out quality related projects
  • Assist QM to establish and maintain an independent audit system to ensure compliance with QMS requirements as stipulated in CASL MOE’s and EPM
  • Lead and monitor progress on occurrence investigations, data analysis, root cause identification and communicate with customers / airlines to ensure the corrective and preventive actions are effective
  • Maintain regular contact, attend meetings and keep good working partnering relationships with responsible parties of different regulatory authorities and customers / airlines
  • Assist QM to review the workflow, policies and procedures for continuous improvement of the company and department
  • Keep abreast of the requirements of regulatory authorities, licensing systems and best practices of other maintenance organisations, customers / airlines and maintain the updates of company documentation and procedures

Qualification and Requirements

            • Bachelor’s degree in aviation / engineering or relevant discipline
  • Holder of Aircraft Maintenance License under HKAR-66 or other national civil aviation authority
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance, continuing airworthiness, and quality assurance fields
  • Knowledge of SMS and exposure in safety aspects is an advantage
  • Strong leadership with good people management skills
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)
