Licensed Engineer (Production)

Main Duties

    • Assign work tasks to staff under the Licensed Engineer supervision according to schedule to ensure the overall objectives of the project are met
  • Provide guidance and technical advice on production problems to subordinates
    • Monitor the working standard and practices to ensure the teammates conform to relevant approved data, customers’ maintenance procedures, Company procedures and operation instruction
  • Ensure proper documentation within Engineer responsibility
    • Ensure compliance of production work to Company safety and environment procedures within Engineer responsibility
  • Advise Duty Manager / Base Maintenance Manager to improve the quality standard of the final products and ensure the human resources is effectively utilized
    • Coach and develop staff to enable them performing their duties effectively and efficiently
  • Maintain safe operation and serviceability of the facilities and equipment
  • Promote a positive working attitude among staff under Engineer supervision
    • Ensure subordinates are in good medical health and fit for work as stipulated in the prevailing airworthiness standard
  • Subject to operation needs, Engineer may be assigned to work in different maintenance units to support line maintenance service and base maintenance service or both for our customer airlines

Qualifications and Requirements

    • Degree holder in Engineering disciplines
  • At least 8 years aircraft maintenance experience including 3 years aircraft certifying experience
    • Aircraft types A320 and B737-8 holder is preferable
    • Work experience in Base Maintenance is of advantage
  • Good interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
  • Pro-active, high flexibility and good in leadership
  • Good spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)
